FAQs

What age campers do you accept?
Circle at Camp Twin Lakes accepts female-identified kids ages 8-11 years old. Circle at EKC and Circle at Tapawingo accepts female-identified kids ages 9-14. Circle Leaders in Training is for female-identified kids ages 15-18 who have participated in at least one year of a Circle Camps program already. We are not accepting new campers into the LIT program at this time.
What kind of campers do you accept?
All of our campers have experienced the death of a parent. At this time, we are not accepting campers who have lost a sibling.
Where are you located?
Circle Camps' headquarters is in Atlanta, GA. Circle at Camp Twin Lakes (CCTL) is located in Winder, GA and operates out of Camp Twin Lakes' Will-A-Way location. Circle at Tapawingo (CAT) is located in Sweden, ME and operates out of Camp Tapawingo. Circle at EKC (CEKC) is located in Morgantown, WV and operates out of Emma Kaufman Camp.
What is the application process like?
To begin the application process, please click here. Once you've completed the application, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to sign up for an interview with your camper. An application does not automatically mean that your camper will be attending Circle. Circle Camps is 100% free of cost; there is no application or processing fee.
How do I get my camper to camp?
Circle at Tapawingo:
There are two pickup locations for campers in the Boston, MA area and Bridgerton, ME. 
Campers in the Boston, MA area should meet no later than 6:30am at the Riverside MBTA Station in Newton, MA.
Campers in the Bridgton, ME area: Please meet no later than 9:30am in the parking lot of Food City in Bridgton, ME.

Circle at EKC:
There are two pickup locations for campers in Pittsburgh, PA and Morgantown, WV. Campers in the Pittsburgh area should meet no later than 7:00 am in the parking lot of Rodef Shalom (corner of 5th and Morewood Avenues) in the Oakland area of Pittsburgh, PA. Campers in the Morgantown area should meet no later than 8:15 am in the parking lot of the Glenmark Center Lowe’s Home Improvement store in Morgantown, WV.

Circle at Camp Twin Lakes:
Campers should be dropped off at Camp Twin Lakes, Will-A-Way between 4:00 - 5:30 pm.

I'm interested in volunteering - how does that process work?
We love our volunteers! Click here to fill out a volunteer application. Once completed, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to sign up for an interview. Parents/guardians who are interested in volunteering may submit a volunteer application. However, we do not permit parents/guardians to volunteer at the same location their child will attend camp.
What are the summer 2022 camp dates?
CCTL (Circle at Camp Twin Lakes):
Campers: June 5 - June 10
Volunteers: June 4 - June 10

CAT (Circle at Tapawingo):
Campers: August 21 - August 26
Volunteers: August 20 - August 26

CEKC (Circle at EKC):
Campers: August 15 - August 20
Volunteers: August 14 - August 20

Circle Leaders in Training (CEKC LIT-1, LIT-2, LIT-3):
August 15 - August 20

Circle Leaders in Training (CAT LIT-1, LIT-2, LIT-3):
August 21- August 26

LIT-4 will be in New England from August 7 - August 13

Circle Camps is a 501(c)(3) organization incorporated in 2002 in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
Circle Camps is also registered as a foreign non-profit organization in 2020 in the State of Georgia
