Circle Camps at EKC is located at Emma Kaufmann in beautiful Morgantown, WV. Volunteer counselors welcome campers into a safe and caring environment. They are encouraged to participate in traditional summer camp activities like canoeing, hiking, arts and crafts, landsports, swimming, flying off the blob, singing, and much more! Our week-long program offers grieving children the opportunity to be with others who have experienced the death of a parent. While we are not a grief camp, volunteer grief facilitators and counselors are on hand to work with campers in small groups. During these times, campers are encouraged to share personal stories and emotions. Circle Camps is an amazing place where our campers feel comfortable sharing their grief stories and exploring their emotions about their person who died. It is a place where sorrow meets happiness.
