Circle Introduces New Interim Executive Director!
As our fearless leader for the past two years, Lane Shelton, steps down from her role as Circle Camps’ Executive Director, we are thrilled to announce that Sandra “Garbo” David has agreed to serve as Interim Executive Director!
Garbo’s background is an impressive combination of education and camp. She has earned a PhD in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis and has over 30 years of summer camp experience. Garbo has been involved with Circle for 15 years Circle as a bunk counselor and Board member, and more recently LIT-4 trip leader and Program Director. We are lucky to have someone with Garbo’s expertise and long-time experience with Circle Camps stepping up; she truly understands what makes Circle Camp special! Garbo will continue to focus on camp programming and will ensure that we are fully prepared for camp season without missing a beat.
